Me, World, and You: Still Roll

I want to congratulate every muslim in the world in the celebration of Iedul Adha, may ALlah bless you on every sacrifice during the Holy Dzulhijjah month. Syaikh Abdul Qadir was noted that, the very meaningfull sacrifice is only happen on the totality of soul clearance. In this time, every muslim who behaved their prosperity do Qurban by chop off a goat or cow or buffola, and dole out its meat to poor people. As of this month, every muslim also practising Hajj as tragically happened, 14 Muslim pilgrims trampled to death in Saudi Arabia. It's really sad news, though Saudi Government had did their best management with million pilgrimages who visiting, in this case we should appreciated them. This ritual only, happened on Mina, a place at the east of Mecca, is a time where only happened on just a day to did and every pilgrimages should get on it.

Now, the debate on whichever Iraq should be attacked by US and its allies still continue on. However, I collect some nice news archive including: a Saddam interview on Times, and A Baghdad Blog (Where is Raed), and also Spies, Lies & Iraq that focused on the recent Iraq crisis with the appearance of a women claimed to be Saddam's former mistress. In Indonesia, it's happened that this issues goes nationally and have been politically mis-lead by political leader to get attention on next 2004 Election. As this election, I think I would cover some and kept a seperate blog just focus on it. I think it's good to start in the mid 2003.

And, it's for Oscar to coming on next month. If you haven't been noticed before, Newsweek just covering new issues on its nomination. Somewhile, the new Jet Li nominated Oscar movie Hero just become a hit, a story about Qin Shihuang's fearsome exercise of power 2,200 years ago. Has been compared to the actions of Napoleon and Stalin, and his bloody legacy remains a raw wound in today's China.
