What does Trackback Really?
Someone asking me in her comment, what does trackback really? In this post, i decide to answer in my best understanding about trackback. I hope this explanation could clearly introduce this technology (if you hadn't knew it before).The trackback is a new feature introduced by MovableType (the engine which i used to publish this weblog), it is implemented since June 10, 2002 (MT version 2.21). Though the concept of TrackBack may be a bit confusing, for short description, it would give you a chance to share and 'connecting' your weblog (individual post) with other's weblog in same or identical topics, or may you just refering to them, or contrarily any weblogger out there could refering to your individual post. Both post (your's and other's who refered to you) then has a way to see each others. So, it would be great advancement if any weblogger could connecting their thoughts. Luckily (or may be greatly), MoveableType creator doesn't made this featured exclusive matter, it's openly introduce to all weblog aplication to implement it. Basically, this feature use a simple HTTP GET protocol to ping weblog resource. After two weblog handshaking, they would continue to create a friendship and tell the world what their relationship announcement (the post).
